Adventurous Seniors — will be visiting the Museum of the American Indian in Novato on Friday, August 19th. Bring a dish to share for the potluck picnic. We’ll be leaving PCC at 10:30 am.
 
The 101 Class — Interested in knowing more about being a part of PCC? Join us for our 101 Class to be held Saturday, August 18th, from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Packets will be available in the Narthex starting Sunday, August 12th.
 
Women’s Ministry Potluck LunchSaturday, August 25th, at 12:00pm, in the Fellowship Hall. We will be sharing testimonies from the “Sister to Sister” Ministry and begin the new pairings. You won’t want to miss this…all women, please attend!!
 
Prayer and PraiseWednesday, August 29th, at 6:30pm. We are having our monthly prayer and praise night! Please come and join us as we lift up our church in prayer.
 
Faith Day with the Oakland A’s — PCC will be attending this year’s Faith Day on Saturday, September 8th, at 1:05pm at the Oakland Coliseum as they take on the Texas Rangers. Lower Box tickets are $38 and include postgame testimonials with A’s players and a free batting practice jersey for everyone in our group. More details to follow, but sign up now so that we can put a deposit down for the tickets.
 
Agape Women’s FellowshipThursday, September 13th, at 7:15pm. Donna Reno will be hosting at 1288 St. Francis Drive in Petaluma. (For those of you who don’t know, this meeting has been cancelled. The next meeting will be held in October.)
 
The Book Of Revelation — Thursdays at 9:00 am. PCC will be hosting a weekly bible study taught on DVD by Les Feldick (www.lesfeldick.org) in the Fellowship Hall. Contact Kathy Pearson for more info.
 
Saturday Morning Prayer GroupThere is an ongoing prayer group that meets every Saturday morning from 8:15 – 9:30am in the Prayer Room. Please come and join us as we lift up prayers mostly centered around Petaluma and the Petaluma churches, our state, country, the persecuted church, abortion and other issues.
 
Sponsorship’s still available for children at the William Carey Memorial School in India. Contact Jean Hicks for more info. Forms are available in the Narthex or Fellowship Room.
 
Volunteers Needed – Help make PCC strong! We need help in the following ministries: Buildings/Grounds, Children’s, Computer/Media, Greeters, Kitchen/Communion, Office Help, Small Groups, Ushers, and Worship. check out the sign-up sheets in the Narthex and Fellowship Hall.
 
The PCC Lending Library & Reading Room has a great collection of fiction, nonfiction, and reference books. It is open on Sundays from 10:00 am to 12 noon. Coffee is available.
